Slab has been laid…

The Truck parade started in the morning. .....
More than 10 concrete trucks drove in and out of the site all day. Concrete pump tirelessly completed the slap pouring in 5 hours. Finally we were able to walk on the floors. The slab was perfectly laid with the exact shapes as drawn in the plan. Witnessing the physical layout is always pleasing for your eyes and feet. Waiting time starts now until we have the slap stable enough to take the frames up. After years of waiting and months of preparation and anticipation, we have the house foundation ready.

Getting ready for the Slab

The crew arrived early in the morning.  The plastic sheet, reinforcing and waffle pods were laid on Lower and Middle floors. Currently it provides the physical view of the split level dimension.
So far the progress is very satisfying.

Excited Again

Noise came from our site which was music to our ears. Finally we have witnessed that something is taking place within our vacant land which had not been visited by any tradespeople for past 8 months.
Clouds cleared and sunny days are back for us.

Builder is our site supervisor - which is a lucky element of our process. He was present today and provided us the timetable for the day. Tasks completed according to the schedule.
